Pledge Manager Last Call

We hope everyone had a great holiday and New Year!
We're sitting at 70% completed for the pledge manager. We know that people were busy for the holidays, so we're going to leave this open for 2 more weeks before sending the book to print.
If you're at a pledge level where your name will appear in the credits, you'll have until Wednesday, January 31st at 11:59 PM to complete your survey. If you don't see the survey, check your junk mail or drop a comment down below and we'll help you get that sorted out. After January 31st the book will be at the printer and we won't be able to get your name added in.
For those who haven't completed the survey and live in the Austin/Round Rock Texas area, there is an option for local pickup for your book so we can help you save on shipping costs. When selecting a country, just choose "local pickup" and that will get you sorted.
We won't be charging credit cards until we get closer to shipping the books out. We will be sure to notify everyone well in advance before that happens. We're excited to get this to print and out to everyone.

I hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving!
All of the surveys have been sent out. If you didn't receive yours, check your spam folder. Currently, we are sitting at 71% of all surveys completed. If you backed us at the Print Edition or a higher tier, there is the option of having your name in the credits. Be sure to get your survey completed promptly to ensure your name is added to the book.
If you haven't filled out your survey yet and are in the Austin/Round Rock, Texas area you do have the option for local pickup to save on shipping (there is a small fee for packing materials). Just select Local Pickup from the country drop-down box.
If any of your friends missed the campaign and wanted to get their own copy of Exile, we do have our pre-order store open at the following URL: https://violet-dawn-exile.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders On the production end, we are pretty much ready to go to print minus having the Backer Credits page completed. The plan is to have our book sent off to the printer in a couple of weeks.
We are working on the digital awards and Jason Rosenstock--our lead artist from the Violet Dawn RPG days--sent in an initial sketch of the cover for Denizens Reborn. Really happy with where this is at.
I'll share the final when it's done and more information on Denizens Reborn in a future update.

We hope you had a great Halloween!
We have a treat for you all, everything has been entered into the Pledge Manager and we are ready to start sending out surveys. We're starting with a smoke test that goes out to 5% of our backers. This allows us to check over everything and make sure it goes smoothly.
If there are no issues, we'll open up the Pledge Manager to all of our backers next week and start taking late pledges for those who missed the campaign.
The Daegir pins have finally arrived and they look great! We ordered extras so you can add one on to your pledge through the pledge manager. We also just got the tassels in for our bookmarks and have started assembling them. We're really happy with how everything is finally coming together and apologize for the delays. We hope you'll agree that the wait will be worth it.
If you do receive a survey in the next few days, please complete it as soon as possible and make sure everything is accurate. If you have any issues, the BackerKit team provides outstanding customer service and is ready to help.

We have a pin!

Just a quick update today. I finally received production samples of the pin from our manufacturer! It took a little longer than anticipated, but it was definitely worth the wait.
If you pledged at the Signed Limited Edition + Pin tier or above (NOT including the Retailer Edition), you'll be getting one of these with your pledge. We'll also have a limited amount of pins available as an add-on or you can upgrade once the Pledge Manage goes live.
It should take about a week or so before I have these in hand. Once I do, I can finalize shipping costs, get the pledge manager opened, and get this Kickstarter fulfilled. I'm really excited about getting this Kickstarter completed and out to everyone. We're really close.
The next update is all about the Pledge Manager and moving into final production.

Bookmark and Pin Update

I wanted to provide a quick update. The bookmark has finished production and is now in hand. We still need to order tassels and get those added, but that won't take too long. Everyone who backed at the Print Edition and above will get a bookmark included with their pledge. The final printed bookmark is below:
On the pin, I requested quotes from 6 manufacturers. The process took only a week and went rather smoothly. I found a manufacturer who provided a mock-up we really liked. The final pin will be cast at 1.5" and have a pearl in the middle. The pin was paid for and has been in bulk manufacturing for 3 weeks. It's taking longer than I anticipated, but there is a lot of complex detail that takes time to get right. Here are some screenshots of the CNC model of the pin.
Once I have the pin in hand, we'll be able to calculate the shipping costs and open the pledge manager. I'll post again once I have an update on the pin.
