We're just under two weeks left in the campaign and we crossed the 50% funding mark! Huge thanks to all of our amazing supporters. Campaigns really pick up in the last few days and we have some press coming up that will help us make the final push to get over the finish line. Keep spreading the good word!
Alex has an AMA coming up on Reddit on November 22 at /r/Fantasy starting around 11 AM CST. If you have any burning questions about Violet Dawn, Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron, the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story novelization, or the myriad of other projects he has worked on, don't miss it! Over on Twitter, Alex has also been doing a lot of threads on writing including world-building, scene structure, and likable characters. That last one is weird to me as I didn't think Alex actually wrote likable characters, but I digress. In any case, there is a lot of good material for budding writers out there.
Louis has been posting new artwork almost daily on Twitter as well. Here's just a small sample of what he's done over the last couple weeks. There are some snippets on these fantastical creatures, characters, and locations on Twitter if you are a lore junky and into that sort of thing.
I've also seen sketches for pages of something called Violet Dawn: Whispers of the Void, but I'm not supposed to talk about that. I have the keys to the Kickstarter though, so I'm slipping this in. Hopefully, Alex and Louis won't notice... I don't know who these dudes are or what's going on here, but I can't wait to find out!
For backers, we are still sharing panels from Transmutation, our backer-only webcomic. We decided to break these up into full-page reveals instead of individual panels to cut down on the number of emails we were sending out. Look for page 2 of Transmutation to come out sometime tomorrow.

While this was happening, the rest of Damien's group has been piecing together information they found to learn more about the Dark Order, and their plans centered around "Project Sin."

I hope everyone is doing well! We had a productive weekend finally crossing the 50 backer threshold and hitting 37% to goal. The pledges are steady which is great at this point in the campaign. Keep on getting the word out. We're getting there.
I did a bit of pumpkin carving with my kids for Halloween. This symbol--and numerous variations of it--has an ancient meaning that is lost to time for the Last People. After a hundred and one generations, little knowledge of the Great Architects remains. Could this have something to do with the mysterious world beyond?
Louis is also getting in the Halloween spirit by drawing a picture of Brandon Lee as the Crow. Not sure exactly where he is drawing his inspiration from, but I'm betting it has something to do with "rain." We'll find out and reveal more as he gets further along in the process.
